Top Ten Tuesday (2)

It’s been Tuesday here for 21 hours already and I still haven’t done my Top Ten Tuesday post. Better late than never and all that I suppose.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme started by The Broke and the Bookish that delivers a different prompt each week. Our responses to their prompt of the week should formatted into a list of ten unique items.

This week’s prompt is: what books you’re most excited about that have made it on your Fall TBR list!

1. Deity by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I read Half-Blood a few weeks after I read Obsidian and was instantly hooked into the Covenant Series much the same way the Lux Series has a hold on me. I have been waiting for Deity since early June and December cannot get here soon enough!

2. Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I am saving Onyx for a few days before Opal is released in November just so I dont have an aneurysm waiting for the next in the series. This may not be the smartest plan, but eh the chips can fall where they lay. I’m up for it!

3. Spark by Brigid Kemmerer

I read an awesome review for Storm a few days ago and convinced myself this was a book/series I would love. Can’t wait!

4. AngelFall by Susan Ee

AngelFall I have read a number of fantastic reviews for and once I get through some other reads ahead of it, I plan on diving right in.

5. Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

This is another series that comes highly recommended and I am super excited to start.

6. AshFall by Mike Mullin

I guess I would say I stumbled on this series while perusing Goodreads and after reading a couple reviews, my interest was piqued.

7. Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins

I guess I should go ahead and tell you that many of my books are ones that I have either read an excellent for review for or have come highly recommended. Sweet Evil is one of the latter 🙂

8. Ceaseless by Abbi Glines

I read the first two in this trilogy months ago. Therefore my anticipation for the third and final installment is a little over the top! This is one of those that I will start reading the moment it arrives in my mail box, meaning whatever I am reading the time will be put on hold until I have devoured Ceaseless!

9. My Recent Kindle Downloads

Some of my recent Kindle downloads include Elemental, Storm and Fearless by Brigid Kemmerer, among many others, just because I get excited about a review and then I find the book on Amazon and I press purchase almost instantly a moment later.

10. All the great reads I have been approved to read by NetGalley

NetGalley recently approved me for six different titles (Broken, Demons, Refuge, The Enchanted Truth, Dante’s Girl and Pushing the Limits) and I think there are a couple more I am waiting approval on. Needless to say, NetGalley will be keeping me very busy this Fall.

If it’s not the library it’s NetGalley, I always manage to overwhelm myself. It must have something to do with being a college graduate and missing deadlines. Or something along those lines.
