Tuesday Memes

teaser tuesday

Teaser Tuesday, a weekly meme created by MizB at Should Be Reading, is an opportunity for bloggers to tease their blogging friends about a book they are reading in just two sentences picked from a random page without giving away spoilers.

I cheated a little and picked from this week’s re-read. Which by the way I have not read since it was first published back in ’98. But this is part of what caught my attention and demanded I re-read it!

My teaser for this week is …

These two were a total trip. I bet they have every episode of The X-Files on tape, Liz thought.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the The Broke and the Bookish where Jamie and her co-bloggers create a top ten list for a given topic. As always images will take you to the respective Goodreads page.

This week’s top ten is: Top Ten Books I’m Not Sure I Want To Read (books you may have bought but aren’t sure if you are into it anymore, books you wanted to read but heard mixed things about, hyped books you aren’t sure about — basically any book that has you going, “TO READ OR NOT TO READ?”)

Most of these titles I purchased on a whim when I first started blogging and didn’t use Goodreads or the blogosphere to find my next read as much as I do now. Some of these I can see myself maybe reading but a few not so much.

Is there a title here you think I should definitely make time to read? Let me know below 🙂

  1. Out of all of them, I would definitely have to recommend The Program. I ended up loving that and giving it 5/5 stars. I wasn’t as big a fan of the second and final book, but it’s definitely a series that’s worth reading.
